Character Sheet

General
Name: Pansy Irenia Parkinson
Nicknames (and who is likely to use them): Pans, used by former Slytherin classmates; Pip, used only by her father, Flower by Gilderoy
Age: 25
Birthday: 17 June 1980
Astrological Sign: Gemini
Place of Residence: 212 Cicero Lane, Hogsmeade

Note: She also owns an estate in Lancashire but refuses to live there because Gilderoy Lockhart was killed there.

Appearance
Height: 160 cm (5'3")
Weight: 49 kg (108 lbs)
Eyes: dark brown
Hair Colour & Style: dark brunette hair parted slightly off center and past the shoulders in length
Skin tone: porcelain
Build: slender and petite

Distinguishing Marks: She was described as ‘pug-faced’ and ‘hard-faced’ by schoolyard enemies. Her face is a little angular with a slightly pointed chin, and her nose does turn up just a bit, but those harsh epithets referred more to her attitude than her actual appearance. (Just to be sure, she did make a few visits to a medi-witch who had the reputation of being willing to make…improvements…for the right sum of galleons.) She has a single scar, a small star-like mark on her back near her right shoulder.

Dress Style: Pansy wouldn’t be caught dead in something cheap and off the rack, war or no war. She had an extensive wardrobe of the finest quality robes before the war began and has taken very good care of her things. She also has discovered Padma Nott's wonderful silks and has several sets of robes made from them. She tends to gravitate towards the light lavendars and pale greens, however, her recent purchases were more rickly shaded jewel tones. She will not go out in public without styled hair, manicured nails, and the use of appropriate cosmetic charms and make-up. She loves lingerie, everything from pretty to racy. She also loves shoes.

Things they would always carry with them: her wand, a hand mirror that is magically connected to one carried by Harry Potter and one stashed somewhere by Draco Malfoy (he's supposed to carry it!), and her mother's wedding ring worn on the middle finger of her right hand

Other: Pansy frequently wears a piece of her mother's jewelry...a locket into which she has put a lock of hair of both Gilderoy and her daughter.

Health
Disabilities/Handicaps: Not quite as strong as she used to be before the complications of her pregnancy and Polly's birth
Health in general – both mental and physical: The death of Gilderoy brought on early contractions, and that problem continued through the rest of her pregnancy until her premature delivery in mid September. There were complications at delivery that left her weak. As a result, she is a little more prone to colds and illnesses.

Personality
First Impression (others have of you): arrogant, snooty, and snobbish

General Behaviour: Pansy is the only child of a longstanding pureblood, aristocratic family. She was pampered and spoiled rotten as a child by her parents, given everything she wanted and then some. Until she went to Hogwarts, her friends and acquaintances included only others from her same social, pureblood circle. Not much changed at Hogwarts, where her view tended to be that of ‘us’ and ‘them’. ‘Us’ included the other Slytherin purebloods and ‘them’ was everyone else.

She is still quite self-centered, and is usually seen as arrogant and snobbish which, incidentally, doesn’t bother her in the least. She likes power, but prefers to reap the benefits without having to do a lot of the work necessary so she tends to hang around those she considers powerful….usually men.

When push comes to shove, she will put herself first, work for her own agenda, and seek out what benefits her somehow. She will use other people for her own gain without any real regard for their feelings, though when prudent she will profess to care for them.
Being self-centered, Pansy enjoys having a good time and has no problem indulging herself. She's tried monogamy and didn't care for it, preferring to seek entertainment wherever her fancy takes her.

Although only a few are aware of it, Pansy witnessed the murder of her daughter's father, Gilderoy Lockhart, at the hands of a man she had long considered a friend, Adrian Pucey. Pansy was forced to the realization that she didn't know her friends as well as she'd thought and that any one of them could be a Death Eater and thus a danger to her since not only was her live-in lover spying for the Order but she herself had also been involved in picking up and passing on information for Minerva. The experience has made Pansy hesitant to trust and extremely over-protective of her daughter. Excessively overprotective....she has more wards on her house that anyone else in Hogsmeade, and she rarely takes Polly outside the safety of those wards. She has stopped warding the room and cradle at night, though, thanks to Harry.

Strengths: She’s generally light hearted and likes to enjoy herself. She's usually quite social and doesnt' do well when stuck by herself for long periods of time...that leaves her depressed. She has many friends, and those she does, she protects fiercely, even if painful to her personally. She’s also got experience with managing money and estates, being the only child of her parents.

Weaknesses: Pansy is self-centered and blindly attracted to power. She doesn’t always make the best decisions, though, and occasionally seems to be lacking in common sense. She’s also quite vain and concerned with her superiority over others. She also cannot pass her reflection without spending at least a moment admiring it. She spends money easily and tends to accumulate too many things. (Most of these things, Pansy would not consider a weakness, by the way, although she does recognize her problem with making smart choices and will turn to a trusted friend for advice, never realizing her trusted friends might not be putting her needs first.) She also greatly dislikes taking care of herself on a day to day basis, having had house elves or toadies to do those things for her.

Habits: Most of Pansy's habits are related to flirting: tossing her hair, tilting her head and looking up at someone (usually male) through her lashes, fluttering her eyelashes at someone (usually male). She also has a bad habit of forgetting names (unintentionally) and overlooking people completely. If she notices you, she either thinks you can help her somehow, thinks she owes you something, or is thinking about shagging you.

Enjoys: Pansy enjoys flirting, being around powerful people, shopping, playing with gold (stacking, counting, touching), dancing, drinking fruity drinks, entertaining, attending social events, parties, and playing the piano. She also likes to sing and has a passable voice and is an avid reader.

Dislikes: Pansy dislikes people with poor hygiene and bad smells. She hates feeling like someone doesn't recognize that she's wonderful and amazing and perfect. She also hates doing without and roughing it. And she dislikes guilt. Very much so!

Family
Spouse/partner: She had a child with Gilderoy Lockhart, deceased
Parents: Frederick and Cordelia Carrows Parkinson, both deceased
Sibling(s): None
Children: a daugher, Polyhymnia Gilded-Rose Parkinson
Elves: Wicksy, Polly's nanny, and Hilly
Pets: Mnemosyne, her eagle owl
Bloodline: Pureblood
Family History: Pansy’s parents were Death Eaters, although her mother only had limited involvement, as was appropriate for a pureblood wife and mother. Though things were escalating at the end of her sixth year, both her parents insisted that she return to Hogwarts for her seventh and final year. Pansy did, remaining at Hogwarts even during the holidays as it was safer. In the spring of that year, she received word that her parents had been killed. Information in the Daily Prophet suggested that her parents had been preparing to flee the country and were killed by Death Eaters. As the only child, Pansy inherited the Parkinson lands, estate, and accounts.

She met Gilderoy Lockhart in Hogsmeade at a time when she was being blackmailed. He treated her far differently from anyone else at the time, and she fell madly in love with him. Gilderoy had been working as a spy for the Order since the year he was supposedly obliviated in the Chamber of Secrets. Since then he had been pretending to be loopy and using that disguise to listen to conversations, passing on any pertinent information to Aberforth Dumbledore. Gilderoy allowed Pansy to see the side that no one else but his daughter in France knew about, the sane and calculating spy. She knew of his activities and even helped in small ways, providing a portkey to Hogsmeade when they moved to Lancashire since Gilderoy had little magic and couldn't apparate.

Pansy turned up pregnant and had a horrific time with hormones. She also discovered she was not meant for country life nor for monogamy. She did love Gilderoy, but she loved lots of people and finally ended up back in her old pattern of flirtations and dalliances.

One night, Gilderoy was noticed listening in on a Death Eater conversation, and Rodolphus ordered Adrian Pucey to eliminate him and any witnesses to his death. Pansy surprised Adrian in the act of killing Gilderoy. Going out on a limb himself, Adrian saved Pansy and her unborn daughter, hiding her at the Cornfoots and moving Gilderoy's body so it wouldn't implicate her in his death. The stress brought on early contractions, and Pansy continued to have trouble with them until she finally delivered her daughter prematurely.

Complications at birth left Pansy weak, but she was determined to protect her daughter. Unable to face either of her houses due to their association with Gilderoy, Pansy stayed with the Cornfoots at Adrian's Hogsmeade house until Theo offered her the use of his Hogsmeade house. While there, she bought and renovated a new house on Cicero Lane.

Concerned for her safety, Draco used her obsession with Polly's safety to convince Pansy to let Harry Potter move in with her when the new house was ready. The arrangement had the advantage of giving Harry something to think about besides the war and the Lestranges, and it provided an extra measure of safety for Pansy and Polly. Harry set up the mirror communication system and arranged for a portkey that would take Pansy to the Hogwarts infirmary if she ever needed a quick escape. Draco also oversaw the warding of the house, which was done with the help of Cass Vaisey, Adrian Pucey, Terry Boot, Severus Snape, Harry Potter, and Draco himself.

Pansy did her best to make friends with Harry but he attempted to resist her attempts. He could not, however, resist Polly, and Pansy and Harry grew closer as Harry came to adore Polly.

Social/Romantic/Sexual
Close Friendships: Draco Malfoy, Theo Nott, Cass Vaisey, Millicent Bulstrode, Tracey Davis-Malfoy, Padma Patil-Nott, Verity O'Shea-Montague, Terence Higgs, Daphne Greengrass, Harry Potter

Known Enemies: She has very bad feelings about Death Eaters since the death of her parents and now the death of Gilderoy. She wants to dislike Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley but can't because they're friends of Harry's.

Sexual Preference: Pansy is mostly heterosexual. That’s not to say that she won’t consider a woman from time to time (she does appreciate a nice set of tits). She considers herself adventuresome and is not adverse to experimentation. She even has several kinks she likes to indulge, but generally prefers not to be the dominant one in a sexual encounter.

Turn Ons: Being adored is Pansy's ultimate turn on. She also loves silky hair...she loves to run her fingers through it.
Turn Offs: Men who cry and talk excessively about their feelings. Stupidity, body odor and bad hygiene, scruffiness also turn her off.
Past Relationships: Draco Malfoy, Theo Nott (mostly casual sex), Terence Higgs (again, casual sex), Gilderoy Lockhart, Cass Vaisey

What they think about sex and love She used to not believe in love and indulged in sex at will. Since meeting and falling for Gilderoy, though, she definitely believes in love. She just doesn't believe she personally can fall in love.

Magical
Wand Type: 11" black oak with a dragon heartstring core . . . good for charms (particularly health and money charms), also good for hexes
Magical talents: Pansy is competent at potions and quite skillful at charms and transfigurations, particularly ones that make life easier for her or help with her appearance. She is also good at arithmancy and runes.

Magical weaknesses/aversions: Pansy thinks divination is a lot of balderdash and foolishness. Herbology is not her thing. She doesn’t mind working with potion ingredients, but she draws the line at putting her hands into dirt for any reason whatsoever. Household spells are also not her thing.

First sign of magic – when and what: When Pansy was four, she was was sent away from the dinner table for some misbehavior. Furious, Pansy threw a temper tantrum, bouncing up and down on her bed as she screamed out her anger. Unfortunately several pieces of the house's furniture, including the great candelabra on the dining room table, seemed to echo her anger as they also starting bouncing up and down.

Boggart: a masked Death Eater holding Polly
Knows how to Apparate: Yes
Knows how to cast a patronus: Yes, but her patronus is a butterfly and she thinks it looks ridiculous so she doesn't use it often.
Knows how to use the unforgivables: She wishes...especially the imperius curse, but no, she can't do the spells.

Schooling:
Year: Same year as Harry
House: Slytherin
Other Affiliations: Prefect, Inquisitorial Squad
Best subject(s): Charms, Transfigurations, Arithmancy, Runes
Poor subject(s): Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures
Electives s/he would have taken: Arithmancy, Ancient Runes
Best Mates: She shared a room with Millicent Bulstrode, Tracy Davis, and Daphne Greengrass.
Romantic interests: Draco Malfoy, Theo Nott, half-heartedly pursued by Terence Higgs, mad crush on Blaise Zabini, Cass Vaisey
Level of education reached: She got NEWTs in Charms, Transfigurations, Potions (barely), Defense, Ancient Runes, and Arithmancy. She was also taught to manage money and estates by her father since she was the only child and would inherit everything.

Financial
Current Occupation: Lady of leisure sounds so much better than lazy lie-abed, doesn't it? Pansy runs her family estate, relying on a local villager to be the on-site overseer. Currently, she has crofters that raise cows and sheep (they pay her rent for use of the land.) She has plans for changes after the war is over and spends some of her time working on those ideas.

Also, Pansy opened an eatery in Hogsmeade on Margin Alley called the Bite N Blether that serves breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. The eatery has a very small bar area. There is also an attached rooming house with a small flat that is used by the manager of the pub, and four other tiny 'suites.' Each suite consists of a sitting room/tiny kitchenette, bedroom, and bath. The flat has two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining room, and bath. Pansy tends to let the pub manager handle everything to do with the pub and uses it solely as a source of income, albeit a small one.

Other Occupations: Pansy contributes time to both the PDP (Proud Descendants of Purebloods) and the SPWC (Society to Preserve the Wizarding Culture).

Monetary Situation: Shortly before their deaths, she received a letter from her father that directed her to find a way to stay near Hogwarts or Hogsmeade when she finished the school year. He enclosed a draft on an account that had been set up for her at her birth at Gringotts. (It had been intended to be her dowry when she married.) Pansy used that money to buy the buildings she converted into the Bite N Blether and rooming house, as well as her current Hogsmeade home.

With the deaths of her parents, Pansy inherited everything else. She used some of her inheritance to do the renovations on the buildings in Hogsmeade, also buying furniture and household goods. She made a quick and quiet trip to her family's home to find an estate manager and close up the house, moving a few favorite pieces of furniture, several shelves of books, and all her clothes to Hogsmeade. She also took her mother's jewelry and robes.

Once the majority of expenses were paid for her buildings in Hogsmeade, Pansy divided the remaining gold between numerous accounts in wizarding banks in Europe (and numerous hiding places on her estate and in Hogsmeade.) She might not have easy access to most of it, but it's as protected as it could be so she has something left after the war.

Gilderoy gave Pansy the paperwork to legally start or invest in a business in France. She will be pursuing this. Also, Gilderoy's will left a third of his estate to Pansy and a third to his unborn daughter. Pansy turned half of what he left her into a trust fund for her daughter and used some of the rest for the house she bought and renovated. Both Pansy and Polly continue to get a portion of the royalties of his books.

Ultimately, Polly will inherit the business in France as well as all of the money and such from Gilderoy. Payne (first child with Harry) will inherit the house and land at Godric's Hollow, Paige (daughter by Harry) will inherit the Parkinson manor house and a third of the estate, Patrick (son by Harry) will inherit another third of the estate, Pamela (daughter by Harry) will inherit the other third of the estate, and Perry (son by Harry) will inherit the Bite'n'Blether (and eventually the Hogsmeade house).

Other: Pansy makes enough from the Bite N Blether and her estate to take care of her employees and make ends meet for herself. The inn deals almost exclusively in barter accepting foodstuffs, potion ingredients, diningware items (which Pansy transfigures to match the rest of the inn's stuff), cloth, jewelry, books, and labour. Currently, her personal expenses include food, what she needs to keep the house going, whatever her daughter needs, and the occasional new robe or book. With the war, there just isn't much available to buy, anyway, which is probably for the best. What she buys, she pays for in cloth, jewelry (only what she takes in at the BnB), potion ingredients, and books. She has also been known to pay in house elf labour, but that's becoming more rare with the glut of unclaimed house elves desperate for a place.

Pansy has considered delving into the black market. Because she brings in a few food items and alcohol for her inn, she thinks she may be able to parlay some of those trips into something more profitable.

Current situation
Affiliations & Organisations: Pansy is a member of the Proud Descendants of Purebloods (PDP) and the Society to Preserve the Wizarding Culture (SPWC). She also does her part for the war.
Faction this character supports: Ideologically, Pansy believes the wizarding culture should be protected from most Muggle influences. However, she feels beholden to Minerva McGonagall for her help when her parents died and has been helping the Order when she could, first by providing what information she knew (leaving out anything she knew about her Slytherin Housemates) and then by passing along information.

Role in the ongoing war: After a couple of years of providing what helpful information she came across to the McGonagall (again leaving out anything she heard about her former Housemates), Pansy was approached by the Order about helping them get information from their spies. Pansy had not been highly public in her support of the Light and several of the Order’s spies were people well known to her so it would be easier for her to meet with them than a known Order member.

Shortly after, a rather seedy little brothel in Knockturn Alley had a mysterious new draw rumored to be either a pureblood widow down on her luck, a disowned pureblood daughter, or a pureblood wife with a taste for kinky sex. All that most of the ones who frequented the place knew was that she was only there occasionally (when she needed money is what most said), she looked damn good in the lingerie, and she was incredibly picky about what customers she would take. If anyone was paying attention, they would notice that most of her customers were repeats, but that wasn’t necessarily unusual in a brothel. She put on enough of a show downstairs that no one in the place doubted what she’d be doing upstairs. And anyone still suspicious enough to follow her the next day would see her make an early morning trip to a vault at Gringott’s where she would deposit some gold. While she returned to Hogsmeade, one of the Order employed at Gringott’s would visit the vault and pick up some of the coins, presumably to pay her bills. One of those coins was actually a transfigured message written in code. When the Order needed her to pass information to the spies, a similar coin was passed to her in Hogsmeade.

Since the destruction of Diagon Alley, Pansy meets her contacts in either a small brothel in Richmond or one in Manchester.

Finally
What is your character's deepest, darkest secret and list the names of anyone who might know, or might be suspicious of this knowledge:

1. Pansy would hate for anyone to know that not only did she own all of Gilderoy Lockhart’s books before they got together, but she’d actually read them all as well. Gilderoy knew because he'd seen them all in her library.
2. She would also prefer that no one knows she knits. It’s just so…common. Whoever she buys her yarn from would know this one. She hasn't had time for knitting since having Polly, though.
3. One night at Hogwarts, Pansy shared a bottle of Ogden's with Theodore Nott. She can vaguely remember getting into a discussion of sexual fantasies, but for the life of her, she can't remember what she ended up telling him. Considering some of the...irregular... things she was interested in doing at the time, that makes her a little nervous... That means Theodore, at least, probably knows this secret.
4. Although she is very much for the separation of the wizarding world from the Muggle one, Pansy has to admit a fascination with Muggle shoes and some of their clothes. She would dearly love to own some, but so far has resisted the impulse. Not jeans, though!
5. Also contrary to his beliefs about staying removed from the Muggle world, Pansy's father turned some of the family gold into Muggle money and had it put into a couple of Muggle banks, one in London and one in the Americas, knowing what lay ahead for the wizarding world. Pansy knows this money exists and has left it where her father put it. She is determined that she will never be broke or poor, no matter what.
